Donavieve Thompson

Mrs. Donavieve "Donnie" Thompson of Erie died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, after a short illness.

She was born in Galeton, Pa., June 6, 1930, the seventh of eight children to the late Otto C. and Mabel Mosch.

Donnie is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Mr. Fred Thompson, formerly of Slippery Rock, now of Erie.

Donnie was a gifted organist, avid bridge player and a talented interior decorator.

Together with Fred, she enjoyed playing golf and bike riding.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Vaughan of Pittsburgh and Toby Vaughan of Colorado; two stepdaughters Megan Thompson-Sisinni of Slippery Rock and Mindy Thompson of Alliance, Ohio; as well as various grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

<B>THOMPSON</B> — A memorial service for Mrs. Donavieve "Donnie" Thompson, who died Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday May 9, 2009, at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. The Rev. Barbara E. Mosch of the Milesburg Presbyterian Church, Milesburg, niece of the deceased, will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
