Donald L. Frank Sr.

Donald L. Frank Sr., 78, of Butler passed away suddenly Sunday in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Franklin, the son of the late Howard W. Frank Sr. and the late Dolly (Bennett) Frank.

Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in the Korean War.

He was a good-hearted man who enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting many things.

He had worked at Pullman Standard and retired from the machine repair shop at Trinity Industries.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Alice (Shay) Frank; four sons, Donald L. Frank Jr. of East Butler, Mark Frank at home, Wes Frank of Butler and Patrick Frank of Butler; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Olive Anderson of Butler; and a brother, Howard W. Frank Jr. of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson and a granddaughter.

<B>FRANK</B> — A memorial service for Donald L. Frank Sr., who died Sunday, May 10, 2009, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W.
