Marion Elizabeth (Gallup) Acton, 95, of Butler died May 6 at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Harmony.

She was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Lyme, Conn., the daughter of the late Almer and Mildred (Barstow) Gallup.

Marion was a dedicated homemaker and mother.

She is survived by her daughter, Lucille Bollinger of Loudon, N.H.; a son, Donald Acton of Erie; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Acton, who died in 1981.

A memorial service for Marion Elizabeth (Gallup) Acton, who died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, Butler. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Hope Cemetery, Hendrysburg, Ohio.The <B>Cremation Society of New Hampshire </B>assisted with family with the arrangements.
