Doris J. Guillard, 69, of Prospect died Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

She was born June 29, 1939, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Grace (Welker) Butia.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Middle Lancaster, and was a 1957 graduate of Zelienople High School.

She was retired from the Ben Franklin Store in Zelienople and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 485, Zelienople.

Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Robert P. Guillard Sr., whom she married July 26, 1958; a daughter, Laurie Kelly and her husband, Kim, of Prospect; a son, Dr. Robert P. Guillard, Jr. and his wife, Jane, of Southampton, N.J.; a grandson, Michael R. Guillard; a brother, Terry L. Butia of Evans City; and five sisters, Patricia A. Rice of Portersville, Marjorie Feevey of Slippery Rock, Betsy Lou Butia of Butler, and Sharron Lutz and Sandy Malone, both of Harmony.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Darrel and Donald Butia.

<B>GUILLARD</B> — Friends of Doris J. Guillard, who died Thursday, May 14, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Route 19, Harmony, with the Rev. Barbara Love and the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday one hour before services.Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.Eastern Star Services will be held 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Online condolences and directions are at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
