Doris H. Texter
Doris H. Texter, 81, of Butler, formerly of Sheffield, Warren County, died at 8:55 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Monday, May 14, 1928, in Sheffield, she was the daughter of the late Floyd T. Work and the late Esther Judge Work.
Mrs. Texter was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Allegheny Bible Church in Tidioute and also attended the Community Alliance Church in Butler.
She was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Mrs. Texter enjoyed photography, bluegrass and country music and traveling, especially in the Florida Keys.
Mrs. Texter is survived by her daughter, Darla Bergbigler of Butler; four grandchildren, Lynnae Bergbigler, Evan Bergbigler, Tyler Bergbigler and Ryan Thompson; and one sister, Mrs. Betty Herman of Sheffield.
Mrs. Texter was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Texter, who died Dec. 12, 1985; one grandson, Pfc. Scott Thompson; and one brother, Robert Work.

Texter, who died Friday, May 15, 2009, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, with the Rev. Dennis L.
