William A. Lehnerd, 79, of Butler died peacefully Wednesday morning at his home.

He was a well-known member of the Butler area arts community, an English and theater educator, and community volunteer.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Geibel Funeral Home in Butler, where visiting hours are planned for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
