Robert J. Kaiser, 80, of Ridge Road, Butler, died Tuesday at his home.

Born Aug. 11, 1928, in Troy Hill, Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Charles L. and Minnie D. (Finley) Kaiser.

He had worked as a union painter for the Local 1066 in Grove City for 30 years until he retired in 1980.

He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and VFW Post 249 in Butler.

He had enjoyed reading, puzzles and sitting outside on his porch.

A veteran of World War II, he had served with the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving are his wife, Joan I. Reges, whom he married July 11, 1959; his six children, Ruth (Gary) Gombos, Robert J. (Dee) Kaiser Jr., John E. (Michelle) Kasier, William L. Kasier, Nancy (Donald) Thompson and Cindy (Nick) Codispot, all of Butler; a sister, Dorothy (Rex) Folkwein of Struthers, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death three brothers, Edwin, William and Charles Kaiser.

<B>Kaiser </B>— There will be no visitation. Private services for Robert J. Kaiser, who died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, will be held for his family. Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Arrangements are by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E.
