Anna E. Thompson, 87, of Stockbridge, Ga., formerly of Forest Park, Ga., died Friday.

She was born in East Vandergrift, Pa., to the late Jacob and Mary Pencak Kostka.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Thompson; a son-in-law, Gary L. Steele; and a son, Jeffrey Alan Thompson.

She was a loving and doting wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who took pride in providing dishes of kisses for her great-grandchildren. When not spoiling her great-grandchildren, she would enjoy working in her yard and cleaning house.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by a daughter, Candy Steele of Stockbridge; a sister, Irene and Paul Toman of Leechburg, Pa.; granddaughters, Leigh and Keith Snyder of Seattle, Michelle Key of McDonough, Ga., and Stacy and Aaron Hellinger of Locust Grove, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kaleigh, Ashleigh, Mitchell, Blake and Brantlee; and several nieces and nephews.
