Why is Monroe Street closed? Is it because of Exxon putting lines under the road? What about the people of Butler who use that road every day? We just bow to Exxon and say thank you? Why is any company allowed to close a public street for more than a few hours? It's been closed since 1-3! I couldn't find anything in the archives of the Butler Eagle. No notification or request for public comment or anything...just put up a sign, close the road, and tough luck to anyone who lives on the South Side!
