DAN SOMMERS (Slippery Rock) won the College of Wooster (Ohio) Mule Award for grading out as the team's top offensive lineman in its 37-34 football win over Allegheny.The Fighting Scots (4-0) are ranked No. 17 in NCAA Division III.

NICK CHRISTY (Slippery Rock University) was named PSAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week. He scored the game's lone goal in a1-0 win over defending league champion Lock Haven and added an assist on a goal in a 2-1 win over Bloomsburg.

MALLORY NEUBERT (Slippery Rock University) was named PSAC West Women's Soccer Player of the Week, scoring two goals in The Rock's 3-0 win at Lock Haven.

ERIN BENNETT (Grove City College) was named the PAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week as she went 4-0 with conference wins over Westminster, Bethany and Thomas More. She did not lose a game in singles or doubles action against Thomas More.
