As long as hospitals are forced to treat people, whether they have insurance or not, then you should be forced to buy healthcare. How many hospitals have to go bankrupt treating uninsured people before you will realize that healthcare is a necessity? Nobody plans on falling off their roof and breaking their back - or getting in the middle of a shootout. Hospitals are not allowed to send people away because they don't have healthcare. My freedoms are just as important as yours and when the time comes that I need to use a hospital - as an insured person - I have the right to have a hospital that is not bankrupt and has the latest technology to take care of me, not one that had to close their emergency room because too many uninsured teens who were shot had to be treated and then didn't pay anything.

If wanting my healthcare secure makes me a liberal, then so be it.
