Harry Stewart Sr.

Harry Wesley Stewart Sr., 62, of Laurel, Md., formerly of Harmony, died Tuesday at Laurel Regional Hospital.

Born March 5, 1947, in Jackson Township, he was the son of the late Arthur and Helen Stewart.

He graduated in 1966 from Seneca Valley High School and received an associate's from Beaver County Community College.

He served in the Army in Vietnam for about two years.

He was an accountant for the Department of Defense for 25 years. He retired from NSA in April after 25 years. He had lived in Laurel since 1987.

He was a member of Savage United Methodist Church. He was a member of Ferndale Golf Association.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeannie Stewart; a daughter, Dawna Marie Stewart; two sons, Harry "Butch" Wesley Stewart Jr. and Jeffery Scott Stewart; four sisters, Catherine Finley, H. Arlene Farinelli, Harriet Kennedy and Eva John; three brothers, Arthur I. Stewart Jr., Timothy J. Stewart and Matthew W. Stewart; three grandchildren, Kimberly Marie Stewart, Jamie Musicant and Dalton Michael Stewart; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rebecca Verba and Darla Middleton.

<B>STEWART</B> — Friends of Harry Wesley Stewart, who died Tuesday, June 23, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at <B>Donaldson Funeral Home</B>, 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, Md.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Savage United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Craig officiating.Burial will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Md.Memorial donations may be made to Savage United Methodist Church, 9050 Baltimore St., Savage, MD 20763.
