Eileen H. Sarver

Eileen H. (Stamp) Sarver, 91, formerly of Evans City, passed away Friday at Banner Gardens Hospice House in Arizona.

Mrs. Sarver was born on Oct. 21, 1917, in Farmer City, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sadie (Carter) Stamp.

Mrs. Sarver was a homemaker and an active member of United Church of God in Moon Township.

Surviving are a son, Mr. Thomas E. (Lorraine) Sarver Sr. of Cranberry Township; two daughters, Ms. Patty Preteroti of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Linda (Terry) Swaggerty of Sioux, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sarver was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Eugene Sarver, who died Feb. 21, 1997. She also was preceded in death by six brothers, Chester, James, Earl, Robert, Elmer and Ben; one sister, Irene; and one great-grand-daughter, Sherry.

<B>SARVER </B>— Friends and relatives of Helen Eileen (Stamp) Sarver, who died June 12, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Don Hanson, pastor of United Church of God, officiating.
