Patricia A. Zbiegien
Patricia A. Zbiegien, 73, of 65 Fields Drive, New Castle, passed away Friday morning at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born June 9, 1936, in New Castle, a daughter of Michael Zidow and Margaret Henry.
She was married for 52 years to John R. Zbiegien, who survives her.
She worked for the billing department at G.O. Crivelli Chevrolet, New Castle, for 13 years and also worked for Bell Telephone for 10 years.
She graduated from New Castle High School in 1954. She was a member of St. Camillus Church and also a member of the Ladies Guild of the former St. Michael's church.
She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.
Surviving are her husband, John R. Zbiegien; one son, John M. Zbiegien and his wife, Libbi, of Cranberry Township; one daughter, Sherri Z. Glancy and her husband, David, of Murrysville; one brother, Thomas Zidow and his wife, Rosemary, of Gibsonia; four grandchildren, David C. and Kevin J. Glancy of Murrysville and Breanna E. and Kaitlyn M. Zbiegien of Cranberry Township.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
<B>ZBIEGIEN</B> — Calling hours for Patricia A. Zbiegien, who passed away Friday, July 10, 2009, are from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Noga Funeral Home</B>, 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Camillus Church in New Castle, with the Rev. Father Phillip Farrell officiating.
