McCandless

Bonnie N. McCandless, 92, of Harmony, formerly of Mars, died Sunday afternoon at the Evergreen Nursing Home in Harmony.

Born in Mars, Sept. 10, 1916, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Rachel Hayes Davidson.

A homemaker, Mrs. McCandless was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna E. Decker and her husband, William B., of Harmony; and a son, William H. "Snaz" McCandless and his wife, Carol L., of Callery. Also surviving are five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur H. McCandless, who she married May 9, 1935, and who died in March 1982; and by her grandson. As the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
