Ever hear of the United States? In 1918, the top rate was 77%. By 1929 -right before the Depression, the top rate was down to 24% (now it's 17%). Coincidence? Taxes were raised to fund every war we were ever in - except George Bush's illegal war.

No other developed country has the degree of income disparity that exists in the United States today since King Louis and Marie Antoinette lost their heads.
