Charges of arson are pending against a Kittanning woman accused of setting a residential structure fire following a domestic incident in Armstrong County, state police said.

Tiffany Kaufman, 35, was placed in the Armstrong County Jail following a fire Friday, Aug. 7, in the 600 block of Hill Street in Manorville. Police said multiple fire departments were already on scene when they arrived.

Kaufman was located in the surrounding area and charged after an investigation, police said. Her charges had not yet been filed in district court as of Monday morning.
