Robert Lee "Bob" Horne, 66, of Florence, Ky., died July 21 at his home.

Born Dec. 14, 1942, he was the son of William David Horne and the late Genevieve Horne.

A graduate of Slippery Rock High School Class of 1960, he served in the U.S. Air Force and was a mechanic for Delta Air Lines.

He was a member of Erlanger United Methodist Church and a volunteer for police in Florence and Boone County.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lewis Horne, a daughter, Kimberly A. Belbot and her husband, Ben. and a son, Jason L. Horne, all of Florence; his father, David and his brother, Gary Horne and his wife, Ruth Ann, all from Butler; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew.
