This probably is the most important election in this or the previous century. And the tactics used by President Barack Obama and his administration are right out of “Atlas Shrugged” with regulations that are geared to do nothing more than to destroy free enterprise, expand the government, and control the liberties of the people.

This president and his administration are leading us into a “Brave New World” of an Orwellian nightmare depicted in the book “1984.”

I can’t understand some of the people in this country who are in denial, along with this charismatic president who seems determined to undermine the principles on which this country was founded. They use doublespeak, half-truths and outright mendacity to delude the public about the issues facing the country, both on a national scale and overseas.

These issues should be a grave warning sign to my fellow citizens about how vital this election is to everyone. I urge a realistic look at our national debt, the economy, and the overseas countries that have vowed to destroy us. People should ask themselves what kind of country they want to live in — one that rationally looks at these issues or one that merely hopes things will get better, where nothing really changes, or one that expands their freedoms or one that constricts their liberties.

This critical decision rests with the voters.
