Daniel M. Spithaler, 64, of Evans City passed away early today at his home.

Born in Ellwood City, June 10, 1945, he was the son of the of late Charles D. and Harriet J. Mackanaw Spithaler.

Mr. Spithaler was a self-employed refuse hauler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Lou Rice Spithaler, who died Dec. 2, 2001, and two brothers.

Surviving are a brother, Frank (Rose) Spithaler of Evans City; and nieces and nephews.
