BUTLER TWP — Baldauf Auto Body is expanding with a new repair building.

The construction on the new 4,400-square-foot building began two weeks ago. The shop is on Ewing Street just off Route 8.

Owner Terry Baldauf hopes the project will be done by the end of November.

Baldauf said the need for the addition stems from the increasing number of customers.

“Both boys are in the business now, and we keep growing, so we needed another building,” Baldauf said, referencing his two sons, Brent and Ryan. “The waiting time has been getting beyond the norm, so we wanted to expand to cut it down.

“We want to better serve our customers.”

Baldauf has owned the company since 1985.
