Callihan 50th anniversary
James “Fran” and Karen Callihan of Butler celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner at Rose Haven in Butler and a trip to Ocean City, Md.
Callihan married the former Karen Coyle on April 23, 1966, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three children, Kevin of Butler, Kathy of Bishopville, Md., and Korry of Slippery Rock.
They also have seven grandchildren.
Callihan retired from Armco where he was a brick layer and a welder.
He is a member of the Highfield Golf League.
Mrs. Callihan is a retired secretary and worked for Bell Telephone.
The Callihans are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Callihan is a member of the church's Sisters in Faith.
They also are members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Tanglewood Center.
