Elizabeth M. Haider, 83, of 16505 Virginia Ave., Williamsport, Md., went to her Lord Dec. 1.

Born March 6, 1925, in Minnesota, she was the daughter of H.E. and Alice Day.

Elizabeth was a member of the Butler Country Club and the Fountainhead Country Club.

She loved to knit, travel and be around family. She also loved volunteering.

In addition to her parents, her husband, John V. Haider; and a son, Stephen R. Haider, preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan and her husband, Ted Heverley, of Hagerstown, Md.; sons, Michael J. and his wife, Cheryl Haider of Raleigh, N.C., and William D. and his wife, Rebecca Haider of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her sister, Alice Hurlbutt of Minnetonka, Minn.; and a brother, Robert Day of Apple Valley, Minn.

<B>HAIDER</B> — A memorial service for Elizabeth M. Haider, who died Monday, Dec. 1, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, Md. There will be no viewing.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County or Homewood of Williamsport.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Auer Cremation Services of Pennsylvania</B>, Harrisburg.
