Esther J. Ohl
Esther J. Ohl, 82, of Fawn Township, Allegheny County, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday while in the company of family members at her daughter's home.
Esther was born in Tarentum, Sept. 9, 1927, the daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Porter) Harvey.
She was the widow of Harper Ohl, who passed away in 2001.
She was a member of the Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church in Fawn Township.
Esther was a sales manager for Stanley Home Products in Pittsburgh for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the Natrona Heights Women's Club and the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed talking to people and being with her family.
Esther is survived by her two sons, Floyd Ohl of Fawn Township and Bruce Ohl of Saxonburg; and her daughter, Darlene and her husband, Gus Thompson, of Saxonburg. She also is survived by her two grandsons, Brent Ohl and Justin Thompson; a granddaughter, Samantha Ohl; and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Ohl.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Harvey, and her sister, Edna Smolic-Pugh.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Unity United Presbyterian Church, Tarentum, with the Rev. John Gehring-Andrews officiating.
