Shirley LaRue VanDam, 73, of Belton, Texas, passed away Sunday at her home.

Mrs. VanDam was born Nov. 26, 1936, in Kaylor, Armstrong County, to Leroy and Violet Miller.

She married Kenneth VanDam Aug 10, 1957, in Grand Rapids, Mich. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Survivors include daughters, Cheryl Hullum of Jarrell, Texas, and Lauri Kristinek of Belton, Texas; sons, Robert VanDam of Hamilton, Mich., William VanDam of Hamilton, Mich., and John VanDam of Belton; sisters, Bonnie Moore of Butler and Nina Brown of Caledonia, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

<B>VANDAM</B> — Visitation for Shirley LaRue VanDam, who died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, was held Wednesday at the <B>Dossman Funeral Home</B>, 2524 N. Main, Belton, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at the North Belton Cemetery.
