Man hospitalized following Wednesday night crash in Slippery Rock Township
A man was taken to the hospital with a head injury following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday, Aug. 5, in Slippery Rock Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch recordings.
Two different medical helicopters were initially called to take the man to the hospital, but when the aircrafts were unavailable due to the weather, he was taken to AHN Grove City hospital by ambulance.
The crash was reported around 4 p.m. at 588 Mercer Road.
Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team took the man to the hospital.
Mercer Road was closed for a period of time.
