A Dubois man is accused of attempting to enter a Center Township home, breaking windows and vandalizing a vehicle in the process.

Evan Titus Marquis Way, 25, was charged Tuesday, Aug. 4, with one felony count each of burglary and criminal mischief and one misdemeanor count each of trespassing, loitering and disorderly conduct following an incident Sunday.

State police said they were dispatched to a Center Township home for reports of a man trying to enter the home by breaking a window. The homeowners told police Way banged on their door and attempted to break the windows before he punctured the tires and smashed three windows on a vehicle.

Way left the scene before police arrived and was not found. Way’s preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
