Julia A. Krene, 88, of Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Hot Springs, Ark., died Saturday at the center.

Born Dec. 13, 1920, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Mack Krene and the late Anna Wujcik.

Julia was a benefits representative for Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1980 after 37 years.

She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Butler, and she was a member of Friends of Butler Public Library.

Julia is survived by three nieces and one nephew.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
