John B. Stanley Jr., 46, of Butler passed away Wednesday as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born July 27, 1963, in New Castle, the son of John B. Stanley Sr. and Martha (Mathieson) Stanley.

John was a 1981 graduate of Butler High School. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing and hunting. He had installed swimming pools.

Surviving are his parents and a brother, Jerry Stanley, of Jacksonville, Fla.
