Roger Martin Olthouse Sr., 92, of the Passavant Retirement Home, Zelienople, passed away Friday at UPMC Passavant, North Hills.

He was born Aug. 13, 1917, in Grass Lake, Mich.

He was the loving husband of the late Anna Olthouse and Alice Olthouse.

Roger served our country for five years in the Army, serving in Italy and Africa.

He retired from R.R. Donnelly's Printing Co., Chicago, Ill, after 35 years.

During his free time, he enjoyed golfing, traveling and visits from his family and friends.

Roger enjoyed his lovely home in Florida and then Tennessee before moving to Zelienople.

He is survived by his daughter, Doris Suhoskey and her husband, John, of Zelienople; his son, Roger Martin Olthouse Jr. of Chicago Heights, Ill.; grandsons, Patrick Waldren of Cookeville, Tenn., and Roger Martin Olthouse III of Silver Bay, Minn; his granddaughter, Jill Olthouse of Tinley Park, Ill.; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Waldren of Arnold, Mo.; a great-grandson, Reese Olthouse of Tinley Park; and loving childhood friends and cousins in Grand Rapids, Mich.
