Doris M. McDonald, 85, of Butler passed away at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at ACMH Hospital in Kittanning.

She was born Oct. 22, 1924, in Meadville, the daughter of the late Edwin Haslett Brown and the late Molly (Harris) Brown.

She was a member of the Tanglewood Senior Center. She enjoyed watching stock car racing and reading, and she loved animals.

Surviving are her two sons, Arthur L. McDonald Jr. of Butler and Carl E. McDonald of Ava, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Tony, Brenda and Marsha McDonald; and her good friends, Sue Altman and Patty McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. McDonald, who died Nov. 19, 1973, and a sister.
