Alberta M. "Berta" Callen, 69, of Adams Point, Mars, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at her home.

Born in Pittsburgh, Feb. 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alberta Miller Kurtz.

She was the loving mother of Gary J. Koehler and his wife, Lori, of Pine Township, Mars; dear grandmother of Kaelin Koehler; sister of Joe Bacco and his wife, Dolores "Dolly," of Wexford and the late Donald Bacco; sister-in-law of Antionette Bacco of Greentree; and aunt of Kimberly Parker (Jeff), Donald Bacco Jr. (Jean) and Lynn Laird (Ricky). Also surviving is her former husband, Jack Koehler of Ocala, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Callen.
