Edward Earl Burke Jr., 60, of Evans City died Saturday at the home of his sister.

Born Aug. 21, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Edward E. Burke Sr. and Lillian Ready Burke.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years.

He enjoyed day trading.

Surviving are two sisters, Barbara A. Burke of Sarver and Nancy Becker of Heringen, Germany; his half-sister, Lillian Mazure of Ohio; and his half-brother, Richard Mazure of West View.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a half-brother, Paul Mazure.

<B>BURKE</B> — At the request of Edward Earl Burke Jr., who died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, there will be no visitation or services.
