McCabe

Barbara S. McCabe, 72, of Cabot, died Friday at her home.

Born March 2, 1937, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of Joseph and Marcella Beal Ezzo.

She was a secretary for Bearings, Inc., for 25 years, retiring in 1997.

She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was an avid bird enthusiast.

Surviving are her husband, Matthew S. McCabe, whom she married on Nov. 8, 1954; her children, Colleen McCabe of Butler, John McCabe of Cabot, and Marcy McCabe of Karns City; her sister, Joanne O'Brien of Maryland; and four grandchildren, Robert Spreng, Garret McCabe, Emily McCabe and Sarah McCabe.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and one son, Matthew McCabe Jr.

<B>MCCABE</B> — At the request of Barbara S. McCabe, who died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, there will be no visitation or services.
