Pearl Sadie Bittner Bailey, 94, of Butler passed away Tuesday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Berlin, Pa. She was the daughter of Howard Henry and Margaret Ellen Burket Bittner.

She was a Presbyterian.

She was a former nurse's aide at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by three sons, James (Sue Ellen) Bailey of Pittsburgh, Clifford (Dolores) Bailey of Volant and Dale Alan Bailey of Butler. She also is survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Paul Bailey, who passed away March 18, 1974; a daughter, Arlene Schremmer; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one sister; and six brothers.
