CABOT — Sue Stanny of the Depreciation Lands Museum will be at Cooper Cabin, 199 Cooper Road, on Sunday to talk about the history and importance of the Depreciation Lands to the development of Western Pennsylvania.

On Aug. 24, Master Gardener Barb Bishop will discuss everything you ever wanted to know about herbs. She will use herbs from the cabin's garden and some of her own.

Both programs will begin at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Docent-led tours of the cabin will also be available from 1 to 4 p.m.

Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for ages 5 to 17 and senior citizens, and free for children younger than 5 and Butler County Historical Society members.

The second annual Civil War Living History Weekend will take place Aug. 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
