Moraine State Park will be the site of a program on Historic Oil Well Operation from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The central powerhouse site is beyond the Region 2 office building on Park Road, Old 422, off Route 528. "Learn to Play Disc Golf" will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday; meet park staff at the course on the North Shore at the Lakeview Beach area. This event is open to individuals age 8 and older. Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528 near the intersection of Routes 8 and 173, will host a trip to explore the Kennerdell tract of Clear Creek State Forest on Oct. 11 and 12.
