Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., features a display of white elephants and other ivory pieces plus 19 Japanese samurai dolls and the permanent exhibits of hundreds of pieces of ancient and contemporary Asian art as well as Meissen porcelain. Regular museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays; closed Mondays and holidays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students and free for children younger than age 8; children must be accompanied by an adult. <B>"In the Making: 250 Years/250 Artists"</B> is showing through Jan. 10 at Fe Arts Gallery, 4102 Butler St. in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. Admission is free. This salon-style exhibition celebrates Pittsburgh's 250th birthday by featuring the work of 250 Southwestern Pennsylvania artists from 14 counties. Representing Butler County are Debbie Kuminkoski, Akiko Kotani and Rhoda Taylor. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, glass, jewelry and fiber arts will be showcased, as well as work in less conventional mediums.
