Downtown Butler’s new Rite Aid scheduled to open Dec. 4

The new Rite Aid Pharmacy at 139 S. Main St. will open Dec. 4.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 10 a.m. that day.

Mayor Tom Donaldson on Wednesday confirmed the planned ceremony.

The pharmacy is one of three parts of the Centre City project, which also includes a proposed Marriott Springhill Suites hotel and a 225-space parking garage.
