Jennings Environmental Education Center will conduct a prairie improvement day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17 at the park. Participants must be age 12 or older and register for the program by Jan. 9 by calling 724-794-6011. A winter mountain adventure is planned for Jan. 23 to 25. Call for details on the trip to Laurel Ridge, Ohiopyle State Park and Seven Springs Resort for assorted activities. Jennings is regularly open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
