Kurowsky

Helen Marie Miller Kurowsky, 91, of the Cliffside Apartments in Butler, formerly of Middlesex Township, died Friday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., July 2, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Emily Poorvin.

A homemaker, Helen was a member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills and attended Our Savior's Church while living in Cocoa Beach, Fla.

She was the beloved mother of two daughters, Lynn Pritts and her husband, Robert, of Merritt Island, Fla., and Connie McAuley and her husband, Edward, of Valencia; three sons, Edward L. Miller and his wife, Colleen, of Evans City, Paul Miller and his wife, Kathleen, of Pittsburgh and Walter Miller and his wife, Laura, of Butler; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Olga Manhart of Lansdale.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward L. Miller; her second husband, Thomas Kurowsky; a sister, Zenayda Dodd-Trezpis; two brothers, Leo and Eugene Poorvin; and a grandson.

<B>KUROWSKY</B> — Friends of Helen Marie Miller Kurowsky, who died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, today from 6 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be in the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
