Muriel V. Michaelson, 88, formerly of Butler, died Saturday at the Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont, Pa.

She was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Maude Mary Gibson Siebert.

Muriel was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Her husband, Joseph A. Michaelson, preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1986. A son, daughter, brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son, John W. Michaelson, of Inverness, Fla., and four daughters, Frances M. Johnson of Inverness, Mrs. Pearl Smorada of Washington County, Mrs. Anna Marie Mackowski of Penn Hills and Andrea L. Fair of Butler.

Twenty grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her.

<B>Michaelson</B> — Friends of Muriel V. Michaelson, who died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home,</B> 201 E.
