Bertha Mae Brown

Bertha Mae Brown, 97, of Butler passed away at 11:50 p.m. Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Nov. 16, 1913, in Franklin Township, the daughter of the late James P. Cratty and the late Clara (Campbell) Cratty.

She was a homemaker; and along with her husband, she ran a farm for many years.

She was a former member of the Butler Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marlene) Ellenberger of Butler and Mrs. Kenneth (Barbara) Webb of Butler; five grandsons, James, David, Donald and Robert Ellenberger and Bradley Webb; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Brown, who died Jan. 3, 1991; and three brothers.

<B>BROWN</B> — Private services for Bertha Mae Brown, who died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, were held today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler, with the Rev. Steve Fisher officiating.
