McCormick

Norma Jean McCormick, 62, of Butler went home to her Father in heaven at 6:55 a.m. Monday at Sunnyview Home.

Born Jan. 18, 1945, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Ernst and Marie Thurner Kapp.

She was a loving Christian, homemaker, wife and mother who was well known for her sense of humor and kindness.

Mrs. McCormick was a hairstylist for years and owned her own salon.

She was an animal lover and raised horses and champion show collies with her daughter.

Surviving are her husband, Richard McCormick of Sunnyview; a daughter, Sheri McCormick of Butler; a son, Ken McCormick and his wife, Connie; a granddaughter, Alyssa; nieces and nephews; and a loving sister, Ernestine Shotts, who took extra special care of her while she was at Sunnyview.
