Thomas L. Vehar, 62, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Sunday in Powder Springs, Ga.

A graduate of Butler High School and Duquesne University, Tom's career was dedicated to the insurance industry for years, specializing in bonds.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Christina, Daniel and Lizzy Vehar, all of Powder Springs, and Amanda, a daughter from a previous marriage; along with his sister, Nila of Chevy Chase, Md.

Tom was a loving father and brother and a good and decent man who loved golf, football, music, friends and most of all, his children.
