Eicholtz

Donald B. Eicholtz, 79, of Edinboro, Erie County, died Friday.

He was born Oct. 9, 1931, to the late Edward and Edna Eicholtz of Butler.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Navy. Donald also graduated from Slippery Rock College and Westminster College and dedicated his life to education.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane; four daughters, Mary Eicholtz of Reading, Judy (Wayne) Petersen of New Hampshire, Joyce (Ted) Warnock of Washington and Trish (Jim) Staszewski of Erie; two sons, David (Nora) Eicholtz of Maryland and John (Barbara Hall) Eicholtz of Utah; a brother, Edward Eicholtz of Linfield, Pa.; and six grandchildren.
