Helen L. Neat

Helen L. Neat, 82, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Ross Township, died Friday morning at UPMC Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township.

Born in Pierce, W.Va., Jan. 22, 1928, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Amanda Van Meter Ketterman.

Helen had been an office clerk for Westinghouse on the North Side. She also had been an office clerk for the Butler Auto Auction.

She was a member of the Mars Alliance Church and the North Side Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, Claude Leon Neat, who she married Dec. 10, 1949; and two daughters, Ruth Anglum (Daniel) of Mars and Carol Wokutch (Tom) of Cranberry Township. She was the grandmother of Dan (Ellen), Shawn (Amanda), Jason (Kristie), Shane (Kristen), Kelly (Dave) and Brent; and great-grandmother of Tyler, Austin, Dalayna, Jacob, Leah and Jackson.

She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

<B>NEAT</B> — Friends of Helen L. Neat, who died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, will be received at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Mars Alliance Church, Route 228, Mars.
