Virginia T. Stitt
Virginia Trimarke Stitt of the Masonic Village at Sewickley, formerly of Patterson Township, Beaver Falls, died Dec. 28, 2010, in Kindred Hospital at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
She was born April 19, 1924, in Butler, the daughter of the late Frank and Angeline Trimarke.
Virginia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. All these roles were handled with grace.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Brighton, the Merrick Art Gallery Associates and the Medley Club. She was president of the board for the Beaver County Children's Home and was a buyer for the J.W. Stitt furniture store.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John Wesley Stitt, who died April 18, 2010; and a sister, Elizabeth “Bette” Jones of Miami Fla.
Virginia is survived by daughters, Susan Stitt Moskovitz and her husband, Dr. Morry Moskovitz, of Patterson Township and Sarah “Sally” Stitt of Brownsville; and two granddaughters, Brittany Alison Moskovitz and Courtney Alexa Moskovitz, both of Pittsburgh. She leaves a brother, Robert Trimarke and his wife, Frankie Rae, of Louisville, Ky.; and many dear nieces and nephews.
<B>STITT </B>— A memorial service for Virginia Trimarke Stitt, who died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 22, 2011, at the Masonic Village Clubhouse Assembly Room, 1000 Masonic Drive, Sewickley.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, National Processing Center, P.O.
