June M. Kosar, 73, of Butler passed away Friday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Butler on June 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Twerdok Leroy.

She was a homemaker, and she was formerly employed at Logan Inc. and Davis Furniture Store.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Kosar, who she was married to for 54 years; one son, Gerald P. Kosar of Butler; two daughters, Lori Bark and her husband, Greg, of Zelienople, and Paula J. Kosar of Butler; one sister, Mrs. Marlene Cornibe of Butler; and two grandchildren, Megan Kosar and Alex Bark.

Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.A blessing service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating.
