Iva I. Reese, 72, of Virginia Beach, Va., passed away Tuesday.

She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, John E. “Big John” Reese.

A native of Lewistown, Ohio, she later lived in Johnstown, N.Y., and Butler.

She is survived by her children Sharon, Sandy, Susan and Bob; along with seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was an active member of many fraternal organizations such as the Moose, the VFW and the Elks.

She enjoyed her grandchildren and also had a great love for her pets.

She was known as a lovable, grumpy, one-eyebrow- raising old woman.
